A friend emailed asking for the sample MF Doom uses on Rapp Snitch Knishes and I was going to post this (the sample is from Space Oddity) until realizing I had lost my copy. After a quick search I found it at lostin-thyme which I had never visited before. Rather than re-post it here, I encourage you to visit that site - and look around, it's packed with rare funk / jazz / soul albums and extensive commentary / info on each release.

This is a great one... There's another Sci-Fi album by Don Ellis which is pretty good, but nowhere near this funky. Worth a listen, though.
